It was such a privilege to be invited to capture Connie and Andrea’s vibrant Coronado Beach wedding day at Feast and Fareway. The day was abundant with photography opportunities at some of my favorite spots in Coronado. As a local, I like putting my knowledge and experience to use helping couple’s put together the best photo albums possible. One of my favorite moments from this Coronado Beach wedding was the couple’s first look.
The First Look
Connie and Andrea wanted me to capture every aspect of their Coronado Beach wedding. What better way to help tell the full story than with the first look? In my mind, it’s not only a fun shoot, but it’s also an essential piece of the wedding story.
So, at midday, we headed to one of my favorite spots on the beach in front of the Hotel Del Coronado to capture those intimate moments between the couple. I know it’s a classic cliche, but I just love seeing the look on a groom’s face when he sees his beautiful bride in her wedding dress. Just look at how Connie looks at Andrea!
The Coronado Beach Wedding Shoot
It wasn’t just the first look that was fun though because we had fun throughout the whole day for their Coronado Beach wedding shoot! The weather helped a lot too because at that time of the year it’s just perfect. As the sun was setting, I whisked the couple off to yet another local spot very few know about to capture their intimate couple’s pictures in front of the iconic Coronado Bridge.
After we finished shooting down at the beach, the couple jumped onto a golf cart and ventured onto the golf course for more photographs before heading to their vibrant Feast and Fareway wedding reception. There was such an awesome atmosphere inside the venue, especially when everybody got onto the dance floor!
The Venue At Feast And Fareway
Connie and Andrea are both athletes and adventurists. They love the outdoors, so they chose to shoot their Coronado Beach wedding at Feast and Fareway. I’ve shot many weddings there, and it’s become one of my favorite venues in Coronado. It has so much to offer for couples with its incredible views of the golf course and the bay. And Connie and Andrea did a great job deciding on decorations, such as the vibrant fall looms that complemented the simple elegance of the venue.
Final Thoughts
Every time a couple get in touch via Instagram or any other platform to discuss their wedding ideas, I’m always brimming with excitement because I’m already thinking about how I can best help them bring their ideas to life. Plus, if it is a Coronado Beach wedding, I know I’ll be able to put my experience to use helping them figure out the best secret spots.
So, if you’re planning your Coronado Beach wedding at Feast and Fareway or any other venue in California, I’d love to connect and discuss your visions and ideas in more detail.
