This vibrant and lively Feast and Fareway wedding for Jackie & Joey was brimming with love and definitely a highlight of my wedding photography journey and one that will leave me with lasting memories. Feast & Fareway, an awesome wedding venue in Coronado with great views of the Coronado Golf Course and the iconic Coronado Bridge was the perfect setting for this stylish couple and their guests.
The Shoot For This Feast and Fareway Wedding
Jackie and Joey’s wedding day started off with lots of smiles and laughter during this fun and entertaining getting-ready shoot at the El Cordova Hotel. Jackie and her bride tribe had the champagne flowing so much that some of it even got on ME! They really made every moment leading up to the Feast and Fareway wedding count.
The fun didn’t stop there though. After getting ready at El Cordova, I joined the ladies as they jumped into the party bus that took them to the Feast and Fareway wedding venue for the ceremony. They danced like it was the reception already, and it was a blast to capture shots like these.
Overall, Jackie and Joey’s vibrant wedding was like something out of a glossy magazine, their boho theme with its warm and cozy floral arrangements, vintage table cloths, and stylish crowd complemented this incredible Feast and Fareway wedding venue beautifully.
Their Story
I know I’m biased, but boy do we wedding photographers have the best job in the world. We get to do what we love by telling everybody’s story through images. Capturing the love between Joey and Jackie that dates back to when they first met at a pharmacy school in Arizona made my day. It was especially meaningful to capture Jackie’s vows to her new son.
When Jackie first reached out to me on Instagram after being drawn to my colors and ability to capture genuine emotions, we got to meet at a breakfast spot in Pacific Beach along with her mom and sister, and we just clicked. I just knew from this first meeting that this was going to be a great time.
The Secret Shoot
As a Coronado local, I know a lot of awesome and unique spots that most photographers don’t know about. So, after dinner, just before the sun was setting, I snuck away with the bride and groom from the Feast and Fareway wedding reception and took them up to the secret sunset lookout to capture some gorgeous sunset shots.
Final Thoughts
It was such a treat to photograph Jackie and Joey’s Feast and Fareway wedding. Although I am a Coronado local, I enjoy traveling too! I’ve shot in several spots in California, and I’ve even shot in Hawaii!
